Weather Moves New Mexico State Doubleheader

The No. 15/14 Red Raiders were scheduled to play two games against the Aggies on Wednesday.

LUBBOCK, Texas – Due to inclement weather, the No. 15/14 Texas Tech softball team's Wednesday doubleheader against New Mexico State has been canceled. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 30, in Las Cruses, N.M.

Game one of the doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m. and game two is slated for approximately 6 p.m. Now 24-1, the Red Raiders are coming off a perfect 5-0 weekend at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial classic after they swept UTEP on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders will continue action this weekend at the Tiger Classic in Memphis, Tenn. Tech will face North Alabama and Murray State on Friday, March 15, before facing host Memphis on Saturday. The Red Raiders will wrap up the Tiger Classic against Maine on Sunday. Live stats will be available for all games.
