Volleyball Inks Transfer Tatum Rohme

Arizona State transfer Tatum Rohme will join the Red Raiders for the 2019 season.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Adding the final touch to the Red Raiders' 2019 roster, head coach Tony Graystone announced the addition of soon-to-be sophomore transfer Tatum Rohme on Thursday, March 28.

A native of Chandler, Ariz., Rohme comes to Texas Tech from Arizona State, where she played six sets in two appearances. In her limited time as a Sun Devil, she accumulated 24 assists and one service ace in her first season of NCAA competition. Rohme will take some swings on the right side and assist the Red Raider setters in 2019.

Prior to her stint at Arizona State, Rohme was a four-year letterwinner at Basha High School for Terri Cox-Spann. Racking up 257 kills and 424 assists as a senior, she reigned in 6A Premiere All-Region First-Team honors for both indoor and beach volleyball in 2017. Additionally, Rohme was a First-Team All-Region selection as a sophomore in 2015 and was named to the All-Region Second Team as a freshman in 2014.

Her ability to play multiple positions, along with her competitiveness, makes her such a good fit. I feel like she was the last piece we were looking for to complete the roster and get ready for the 2019 season. Now we're ready to roll."
