KENTUCKY GUARANTEE: Information to Know
January 22, 2020 | Men's Basketball
For those 2,030 students who have qualified for the Kentucky Guarantee (having attended the five games necessary), you are eligible to receive a wristband for the Kentucky game.Â
Your wristband must be picked up inside the student entrance at the USA during any of the following times: Wednesday (1/22): 6pm-9pm, during the Women's Basketball game, Thursday (1/23): 10am-2pm, Friday (1/24): 10am-2pm
There are a few rules you must follow with your Kentucky Guarantee wristband. 1) Each wristband is individually assigned. You must show your student ID to pick up your wristband. You may not have anyone else pick up your wristband, nor pick up anyone else's wristband. 2) Wristbands are non-transferrable. You may not give away or sell your wristband. Your wristband is your own responsibility, and if lost or stolen will not be replaced. 3) Your wristband will let you access the Kentucky Guarantee area on the southeast staircase of the USA. Only students with their wristband will be allowed in this area. Students from this area will be let into the United Supermarkets Arena starting at 2:30 p.m., 2 and a half hours prior to tip-off. 4) You MUST be at the USA by 3 p.m. or you will forfeit your spot. If you arrive at the USA after 3 p.m., you will have to join the general student line. 5) Your student ID is required to enter the arena. Even with your wristband, if you do not have your student ID to scan into the USA, you will not be admitted. There will be signage on display to indicate where the line will begin. Please follow those directions to ensure an efficient load-in
For the students who have not qualified for the Kentucky Guarantee, there are still 2,270 student tickets available for the game. Those will be given out first come, first serve. All Texas Tech students can receive these while supplies last, so the earlier you are in the student line, the earlier you will be able to enter the arena. There will be signage on display to indicate where the GA student line will begin. Please follow those directions to ensure an efficient load-in.Â
No time to dwell.
