Red Raider Basketball With Chris Beard Airs Live Tonight at Rudy's

LUBBOCK, Texas – "Red Raider Basketball with Chris Beard" returns for its third week at 7 p.m. tonight live from Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q with host Geoff Haxton.
Beard and Haxton are in their fourth year together on the show and will preview Saturday's matchup against No. 15 and recap Tuesday's road loss at TCU. The Red Raiders (3-3 Big 12) host the Wildcats at 5 p.m. on Saturday at the United Supermarkets Arena. Doors will open 90 minutes before tip-off on Saturday.Â
Texas Tech is currently ranked No. 18 in the nation with a 12-6 overall record that includes a 72-52 win over Iowa State last Saturday before dropping a 65-54 decision at TCU on Tuesday. The Red Raiders are coming off their most historic season in program history when they won the Big 12 regular season championship and advanced to the NCAA Final Four and NCAA National Championship Final.
Fans attending Thursday's show will have an opportunity to receive game tickets, promotional items and interact with Beard. In his fourth season leading the program, Beard is 88-37 overall, 59-6 at home and is the reigning Associated Press National Coach of the Year along with being named the Big 12 Coach of the Year the past two seasons.Â
