Texas Tech Partners In Support of American Heart Month

Caprock Cardiovascular Center will donate to the American Heart Association for every assist during the month of February
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics has partnered with Caprock Cardiovascular Center and Cath Lab to assist the American Heart Association in American Heart Month, a federally designated event that has occurred in the United States during the month of February since 1964.Â

As part of the partnership, Caprock Cardiovascular Center will donate $25 to the American Heart Association for every assist the Red Raiders and Lady Raiders make during the month of February. Donations are to help support invaluable heart disease and stroke research and to better the lives of those in the West Texas community.Â

American Heart Month is an ideal time to remind Americans to focus on their hearts and encourage them to get their families, friends and communities involved.

Caprock Cardiovascular Center offers the region's first and only full-service cardiology clinic and outpatient Cath lab. Its growing, state-of-the-art facilities allow staff to provide patients with the best care in the industry through doctors Jason Bradley, M.D., Juan Kurdi, M.D., J. Alex Suarez, M.D., Colbert Perez, M.D. and Aurelio Cervera, M.D.
