Texas Tech, Baylor Set for Afternoon Start in Lubbock

Red Raiders and Bears will kick off at 3 p.m. on Nov. 14 inside Jones AT&T Stadium

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced Monday a 3 p.m. kickoff for Texas Tech's Nov. 14 home date with Baylor as the Bears make the trip to Lubbock for the first time since 2008.

This will be the sixth afternoon start for the Red Raiders this season, who will be looking to draw even in the all-time series with the Bears, which currently stands at 38-39-1 after last year's narrow defeat in Waco. Coverage will be provided on FS1 and the Texas Tech Sports Network.

Tech (2-4; 1-4) looks to rebound from a tough loss to Oklahoma as it gets set for a road tilt at TCU. Baylor (1-3, 1-3), meanwhile, has lost three in a row following a 33-23 loss to the Horned Frogs and travels to face Iowa State this week.
