Wynn Garners Big 12 Player of the Week Honor

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech men's tennis senior Parker Wynn earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors following a pair of top-50 singles wins in Mississippi over the weekend.
The award is Wynn's third-career Player of the Week nod and the first of his senior campaign.
Wynn is coming off the heels of a weekend in which he defeated No. 49 Ewan Moore of Tulane and No. 27 Giovanni Oradini of No. 20 Mississippi State in consecutive matches to help propel the Red Raiders to a pair of wins in Starkville. Wynn also added a doubles win alongside freshman Reed Collier against Tulane to add to his weekend sweep.
Wynn currently holds a 3-2 mark against ranked opponents in singles matches this year.
The Red Raiders are set to return to the court for the annual Blue Gray National Tennis Classic on Feb. 21st in Montgomery, Alabama. Draws for the tournament will be released at a later date.
