Red Raiders Add Home Match Against New Mexico State to Weekend Schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech men's tennis team has added a match to their weekend slate with a bout against New Mexico State on Friday, Feb. 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The Aggies (6-4) and Red Raiders (8-4) will meet for the 33rd time on Friday. Tech currently holds a 27-5 all-time mark against New Mexico State and are riding an 11-match win streak, dating back to 2003.
The Red Raiders are 2-0 at home this year and have won four of their last five matches overall, including a pair of wins against ranked opponents.
Tech is scheduled to play their next five matches at the McLeod Tennis Center, including four matches this weekend. They will follow their match against the Aggies on Friday with an afternoon contest against Tulsa at approximately 3:30 p.m. CT. Tech will finish their weekend with a Sunday doubleheader against New Mexico and UTSA at noon and 5 p.m., respectively.
