Week five of the 2020 season is upon us. What better way than to celebrate at home? Rocky Johnson Field is electric. From our beautiful field to all the amazing fans, there truly is no place like it. Â

I am so grateful to be a Red Raider and for the endless support from the fans here. When I was here at Tech on an official visit, the coaching staff took me to Evie Maes. Clearly, they knew that they could recruit me alone on the food here in Texas. Two guys came up to our table once they found out that I was a recruit. I asked them if they would come to some games if I committed here. After they told me yes, I said, "My first homerun will be for y'all and I promise to point at you in the stands."

At Houston, when we were playing LA Tech, I hit my first homerun as a Red Raider. As I was jogging to third, I look into the stands and couldn't believe it. One of the guys on my visit was there! (I actually didn't point because I was so shocked.) Red Raider fans are the best! It's crazy how God can show me that I am exactly where I need to be.

I bring that mindset this weekend. That everything that has happened up to this point has prepared us for the moments to come. This season is a marathon, not a sprint. I am excited for this team and all the amazing moments to come this weekend. Get on the bus, let's go!
