Being at home for almost five months has become so eye opening for me and a lot of people I know. As much as I cherish memories with my family and friends, I still want to be on the field with the girls.

There is something I have come to find during all of this and that is peace. I have learned to value every moment that happens around me or to me. I have never really thought about having peace on the softball field because I am such an energetic and high-adrenaline player, but this is really something I want to focus on.

I have spent most of my time at home, working out, hitting fielding, spending time with family and friends. I am also in a summer class that takes up a good amount of time, but I feel like I have a routine that really works for me these past two months. The virus is still going around, so I am of course seeing the same people I have seen since this all started.

I cannot wait to get back to Lubbock and tackle Sophomore year. I'm praying for everyone's safety during this time and can't wait to see everyone at the Rock next season!
