Game Time Announced for Road Trip to K-State

Red Raiders will face the Wildcats in a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on Oct. 3 in Manhattan

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced Monday that Texas Tech's Oct. 3 road trip to Kansas State will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT with television coverage provided on FS1.

It will be the second straight 2:30 p.m. start for the Red Raiders, who will be looking to end a four-game skid to the Wildcats. Tech's last win in the series came in 2015 as the Wildcats now hold a slim 11-9 advantage all-time after claiming a 30-27 victory last year in Lubbock.

The Red Raiders are gearing up to host No. 8 Texas at Jones AT&T Stadium this Saturday as Tech aims to pick up its third win in the last six meetings with the Longhorns. K-State heads to Norman this Saturday for an 11 a.m. kick against No. 3 Oklahoma.

The K-State trip marks the first road trip of the season for the Red Raiders and begins a two-game stretch away from home. Tech will head to Ames, Iowa, for a matchup with the Cyclones the following week before returning to Jones AT&T Stadium on Oct. 24 to host West Virginia.
