Texas Tech Confirms Burnett's Departure From Basketball Program

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech freshman Nimari Burnett has made the decision to leave the basketball program, coach Chris Beard confirmed on Thursday.
"We appreciate Nimari's contribution to our program," Beard said. "We wish him the best in his future."
Burnett averaged 5.3 points, 1.4 steals, 1.8 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 12 games.
