Texas Tech Set for Early Start Against K-State

Kickoff between Texas Tech and Kansas State is slated for 11 a.m. next Saturday on FOX Sports 1
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech will have an early 11 a.m. start Oct. 23 when the Red Raiders host Kansas State inside Jones AT&T Stadium, the Big 12 Conference announced late Saturday night. Television coverage will be provided nationally on FOX Sports 1.
The Red Raiders (5-2; 2-2), fresh off a 41-14 rout of Kansas, will be looking to reach bowl eligibility for the first time since 2017 against the Wildcats, who enter 3-3 overall and 0-3 in Big 12 play following a 33-20 loss to Iowa State.

It will be the first 11 a.m. start for the Red Raiders at home this season, snapping a steak of three-consecutive 6 p.m. kicks. Tech will also be making its debut on a FOX Sports network after appearing on an ESPN family of networks in each of the first seven games.

Texas Tech is offering a special ticket two-pack for the Kansas State game, allowing fans to purchase seats to see the Red Raiders against the Wildcats and either Iowa State or Oklahoma State for only $60 each.
