Red Raiders Land Record 14 on Academic All-Big 12 Volleyball Team

Thirteen Red Raiders earned first team honors while one landed on second team.
IRVING, Texas – A program record 14 Red Raider volleyball student-athletes earned Academic All-Big 12 honors, the most of any team in the conference, the league announced Tuesday morning.
Thirteen Red Raiders earned first team distinction, including Allison Bloss, Caitlin Dugan, Haley Harman, Samantha Sanders, Emerson Solano and Audrey Tuttle, who each recorded a perfect 4.00 GPA. Only 14 student-athletes recorded 4.00 GPA, as Tech landed the most of any school in the conference with six.
Bloss, Dugan, Harman, Sanders, Solano and Tuttle along with Cadi Boyer, Lindsey Dodson, Kiari Gier, Karrington Jones, Alex Kirby, Brooke Kanas and Katy Northcut earned All-Academic First Team. First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or higher GPA and 20 percent of matches played.
Sophomore Reagan Cooper picked up All-Academic Second Team distinction. Second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
The Red Raiders have placed 10 or more student-athletes on All-Big 12 Academic teams in each of the last three seasons, this year breaking the previous program record of 12 in 2019.
