Red Raiders Head to Big 12 Media Days Thursday

Texas Tech will be represented by Dawson Deaton and Riko Jeffers in Arlington on Thursday
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech head coach Matt Wells, senior offensive lineman Dawson Deaton and senior linebacker Riko Jeffers will meet with media members from across the country Thursday during the final day of Big 12 Media Days held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

ESPN will have live coverage of Media Days for the first time as host Anish Shroff will be joined by analyst Dusty Dvoracek and reporter Jalyn Johnson in speaking with coaches and top student-athletes from across the country. Television coverage will be provided on ESPN from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. CT with a simulcast via Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

Wells and his player representatives will specifically be featured on the ESPNU broadcast from 11:15-11:45 a.m. Thursday. Wells will move across the stadium turf at 11:35 a.m. for his press conference in front of the nearly 500 credentialed media in attendance. That press conference will air exclusively via Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

In addition to television coverage, Wells will speak with the crew at Big 12 Today on SiriusXM around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The Red Raiders will also meet with representatives throughout the day from CBS Sports, FOX Sports, College Gameday and various radio stations from across the state.
