Texas Tech to Host Open Scrimmage Aug. 21

The Red Raiders will host their Football Fandemonium event Aug. 21 inside Jones AT&T Stadium
LUBBOCK, Texas – Fans will get their first glimpse at the 2021 Red Raiders on Aug. 21 when Texas Tech hosts its Football Fandemonium event inside Jones AT&T Stadium.

The annual Fan Day event, sponsored this year by Whataburger, features a roughly 90-minute scrimmage from head coach Matt Wells and the Red Raiders. Fans can also enjoy inflatables and live music outside the stadium leading up to the 2 p.m. scrimmage.

The Red Raiders are slated for a roughly 90 minute scrimmage that afternoon, pitting the offense versus the defense in their final showdown of preseason camp. Wells and his staff will also utilize several special teams periods throughout the scrimmage.

The Football Fandemonium event is free to all fans and parking will be available in the commuter lot immediately west of Jones AT&T Stadium. Fans are asked to please enter the stadium through the Gate 1 entrance (southwest corner of Jones AT&T Stadium) and sit on the west side of the stadium.

Representatives from the Texas Tech Ticket Office will also be on site to help fans with any ticketing needs for the 2021 campaign. Season tickets remain on sale for as low as $150 per person along with a variety of mini-plan and single-game options.
