Aberg, Scott to compete at 2022 WATC in France

Aberg will represent Team Sweden, while Scott will represent Team Scotland
PARIS – Texas Tech senior Ludvig Aberg and sophomore Calum Scott are set to compete at the 2022 World Amateur Team Championship (WATC) beginning Wednesday.
Hosted by the French Golf Federation at both Le Golf National (Albatros Course) and Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Breteche (Red Course), Aberg will represent Team Sweden while Scott will play for his native country of Scotland.
Running from Wednesday (Aug. 31) to Saturday (Sept. 3), 72 different countries will battle for the prestigious Eisenhower Trophy. The event features four rounds of stroke play with the best two combined scores from each roster counting towards the final team score.
Each country competing will play a pair of rounds at Le Golf National and a pair of rounds at Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Breteche. The host course of the 2018 Ryder Cup and the future site of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Le Golf National is a 6,991 yard par-71 course. The other host course, Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Bretech is 6,821 yards in length and is a par-72.
Scott tees off at 9:06 a.m. (CEST)/2:06 a.m. (CT) off of the 10th hole at Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Breteche, on Wednesday, while Aberg is set for a 12:52 (CEST)/5:52 a.m. (CT) tee-time off the first hole at Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Breteche.

Scott, Aberg and the Red Raiders open the 2022-23 season next Wednesday (Sept. 7) at the Frederica Cup hosted by Vanderbilt at the Frederica Golf Club on beautiful St. Simons Island in Georgia.
