Red Raiders in contention at Inverness Collegiate

Tech sits at +4 overall based on Monday’s results that were submitted
TOLEDO, Ohio – Battling inclement weather, multiple weather delays and incomplete results, the Texas Tech Red Raiders sit in solo second place at +4 overall after a round plus of the 2022 Inverness Collegiate hosted the University of Toledo at the Inverness Golf Club.
Play was suspended multiple times on Monday including a near hour long delay midway through round two. In the end, Tech's five players played between 34 and 36 holes on the day before play was suspended at 7:10 p.m. (local).
Based on the scores that were inputted, three Red Raiders sit inside the top-15 of the field, including sophomore Calum Scott. Scott used a pair of eagles on the back-nine of the first round to fire an opening round 68 (-3).
Per the results that have been calculated, Georgia Tech sits in first place at +2 overall, followed by the Red Raiders (+4), Oklahoma (+6), Ohio State (+11) and East Tennessee State (+13).
Georgia Tech's Christo Lamprecht sits at -9 overall and leads by four shots over Maxwell Moldovan of Ohio State (-5). Scott is in striking range of the individual title just five shots behind Lamprecht at -4 overall.

Course officials will try and catchup on Tuesday, as the second round is due to resume at 7:45 a.m. (CT). The third and final round will begin shortly after the conclusion of round two.
