Red Raiders sign transfer Hanna Borer

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech volleyball announced the signing of Virginia Tech transfer Hanna Borer on Tuesday morning.
Borer, a Lewis Center, Ohio native, spent her last two seasons with the Hokies where she amassed 1,635 assists over 57 matches, 52 of which she started. Borer was also second on her team in 2023 for serving aces (25) and digs (213). The year prior, she tied the team lead with 23 aces and was also second on the team in digs with 233.
"I'm very happy about Hanna becoming a Red Raider," Head Coach Tony Graystone said. "We recruited Hanna back when she was in high school, so to add her as a transfer is pretty special. Hanna's a great setter who knows how to run an offense and lead. I'm really looking forward to building a relationship with her and working with her every day."
Borer was named ACC Freshman of the Week twice in 2022 and was named to the 2022 ACC All-Academic Team for her work in the classroom and on the court. She has two years of eligibility remaining.
