LOS CABOS, Mexico – The second-ranked Texas Tech men's golf program sits tied for third with No. 3 Arizona State and No. 23 Baylor after the first round of the Cabo Collegiate Sunday afternoon hosted by Arkansas at the Twin Dolphin Golf Club.
Playing without senior All-American Ludvig Aberg who made the cut at this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, Tech received a pair of 70s from senior Jack Wall and freshman Matthew Comegys.
Wall closed with three birdies in final five holes to close the first day tied for fourth.

As previously mentioned, Tech sits tied with ASU and Baylor at +4 overall.
