Texas Tech unveils complete 2023 soccer schedule

The Red Raiders will play five non conference home matches
LUBBOCK, Texas – After releasing the 2023 Big 12 soccer schedule in May, the Texas Tech soccer team and head coach Tom Stone rounds out the complete schedule by unveiling the non conference slate Friday.
The Red Raiders will head the Mile High City to meet Denver in an annual exhibition before officially kicking off the season at New Mexico on Thursday, August 17.
Texas Tech will then play five straight home non conference matchups, first with the 2022 Mountain West Conference champions New Mexico State coming to the Hub City of Sunday, August 20 for a 7 p.m. kick.
Ball State and Utah State come to town on August 24 and 27, respectively, before a pair of in-state foes make their way to the John Walker Soccer Complex. The Red Raiders close the month of August with the North Texas Mean Green on August 31 and open the month of September with ACU on the September 3.
The Cardinals are fresh off of an appearance in the MAC Championship while North Texas earned the No. 2 seed in the CUSA Tournament.
Tech will close out the non conference slate with a pair of top-55 RPI matchups as the squad travels to Arizona to take on the Wildcats (September 7) and the Arizona State Sun Devils (September 10) in Tucson slate before welcoming new Big 12 Conference member Houston on September 14.
