Tech announces fall schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas – Highlighted by five home games, the Texas Tech Red Raider softball team has released its 2023 fall schedule, as announced by head coach Craig Snider on Thursday morning.
After playing in their annual Red and Black Scrimmage on Sept. 16, the Red Raiders are set to host a doubleheader against the New Mexico Lobos on Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. Following this, Tech remains in Lubbock for a game against Odessa College on Oct. 4 starting at 5 p.m.
The team's first away game is just down the road at Lubbock Christian as the Lady Chaps host the Red Raiders on Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. at Wildcat Park, before LCU heads to Rocky Johnson Field for a home matchup on Oct. 10 at 5 p.m.
Tech closes out its fall slate with one more home game against Howard College on Oct. 11 at 5 p.m., and then travels to Canyon, Texas for the last fall game of 2023 with a contest against West Texas A&M at 2 p.m. on Oct. 15.
