After a scoreless first two innings tossed by Team Black starter Logan Bevis and Team Red's Jackson Burns, the Red side opened the scoring in the third with six runs.Â
Â
The big blow in the six-run frame was a three-run long ball from Logan Hughes that scored Kyeler Thompson and TJ Pompey. Thompson went 2-for-5 on Sunday with two runs scored while Pompey went 1-4 with a run and an RBI. Hughes went 1-for-5 with his second home run of the Red/Black Series.
