Keenan Evans (6'3''-G-1996, played in 2014-18, plays pro in Lithuania) could not help Zalgiris (23-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance, Zalgiris was edged 114-112 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Neptunas. Evans was the top scorer with 26 points and six assists. There are only four games left until the end of the regular season. Evans is averaging 10.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.0apg in 22 games.
Mac McClung continued gaining accolades for a season where he averaged 25.5 points and 6.5 assists per game when he headlined the All-NBA G League First Team that was announced on Thursday to go along with him being named the 2023-24 Kia NBA G League Most Valuable Player that was announced earlier this month. He finished the year shooting .509 (252-for-495) from the floor and .396 (72-for-182) from 3-point range. He led (or tied) the Magic in scoring 13 times, led (or tied) in assists 15 times and led (or tied) in rebounding once. McClung scored in double figures 27 times, 20+ points in 27 games, 30+ points in eight games and 40+ in one game, including a season-high 40 points on Mar.21 against Birmingham. Along with his success throughout the G League season, McClung won the 2024 NBA Slam Dunk to defend his title.
Dejan Kravic (6'11''-C-1990, played in 2011-11, plays in Spain) was not able to help Casademont Zaragoza (2-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Kravic's very good performance the league leader Casademont Zaragoza was defeated 79-70 in Madrid by the leading Real. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Kravic also added 6 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Kravic's first season with the team. This year he averages 7.6ppg and 4.8rpg.
Tariq Owens (6'10''-F-1995, played in 2018-19, currently in Italy), who plays in the Italian Serie A was not able to secure a victory for Napoli (1-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Napoli lost 93-103 at home to the lower-ranked (#5) Dolomiti Trentino. Owens had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 2 blocks in 30 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Owens is averaging 11.4ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.1bpg in 28 games.
Jaye Crockett (6'7''-F-1991, played in 2009-14, plays pro in Cyprus) led Keravnos to a victory over the leader AEK Larnaca (21-4) 83-79 in the Cypriot OPAP Basket League last Wednesday. Crockett was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6. Keravnos Strovolou (5-1) is placed third. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be extremely important. It's Crockett's first season with the team. Crockett averages 14.3ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.5apg and 1.6spg.
Robert Turner IIIÂ (6'3''-PG-1993, played in 2013-15, plays in France) couldn't help FOS Provence Basket (9-22) in their last game. Despite Turner III's very good performance the bottom-ranked FOS Provence Basket was badly defeated87-71 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked (#8) Pau-Lacq-Orthez. He was the top scorer with 23 points. Turner III also added 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 35 minutes. It was FOS Provence Basket's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. Turner III has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg in 17 games.
Matt Mooney (6'3''-G-1997, played in 2018-19, currently in Italy) faced previously mentioned Tariq Owens in the Italian Serie A last game. Mooney contributed to a Dolomiti Energia Trentino's victory against the closely-ranked Napoli 103-93. He recorded 8 points and added 3 passes. Mooney averages 12.5ppg, 2.9rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg.
Davide Moretti (6'3''-G-1998, played in 2017-20, plays pro in Italy) helped Itelyum Varese win their game against the seventh-ranked Sassari crushing them 112-88 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. Moretti recorded 11 points and added 5 passes in 26 minutes. Moretti averages 11.4ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.1apg in 24 games.
Bryson Williams (6'8''-F-1998, played in 2021-22, plays in Israel) couldn't help Bnei Hertzeliya (11-12) in their last game on Sunday. TJ Holyfield (6'8''-PF-1995, played in 2019-18, currently in Japan) was the major contributor in a Pass lab Yamagata Wyverns' victory against the fifth-ranked Firebonds 97-84 in the Japanese B2 League in Sunday night's game. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 17 minutes. Holyfield averages 11.9ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.3bpg and 1.5spg in 60 games.
Toddrick Gotcher (6'4''-SG-1993, played in 2011-16, plays pro in Romania) helped Oradea win their game against the leader Constanta crushing them 88-66 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Tuesday. Gotcher scored 11 points. This season Gotcher averages 9.8ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.6apg.
