Texas Tech throws group travel to Angelo State

The Red Raiders will only compete Saturday
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team will send its throws group to Angelo State to compete in the David Noble Relays taking place at 1st Community Credit Union Field at LeGrand Stadium.

Tech will compete on Saturday beginning with the hammer throw at 11 a.m., followed by the javelin throw at 1 p.m., the discus at 1:30 p.m. and shot put at 4 p.m.

Devin Roberson will enter the meet with a PB mark in the discus at 60.98m (200-1) which he secured last weekend at the Texas Relays. It was the first time in his career he exceeded the 60-meter mark. He is currently No. 6 in the country and the Big 12 leader.

Zoe Burleson paces the women's discus group throwing 55.57m (182-4) in Tech's season opener. She sits No. 24 in the country.
