What do you love most about basketball?
"I love getting in the gym and working. The competition. It's just a great feeling I have every time I'm in the gym."
Â
What's something personal that would surprise people about you?
"I really enjoy drawing and think I'm pretty good at it. I can doodle anything really. It's just fun for me. I'm always drawing while in class or bored at home. Whatever is on my mind."
Â
Name your top-three artists you'd want to see in concert?
"Lil Baby, YoungBoy, Kanye"
Â
What are you most proud of about being from Atlanta?
"I think we have one of the best communities out there. Our facilities there are great and the players that grow up there are really good. It's the home of rap too. That's pretty cool. I'd say it's a great place to come from."
Â
What has basketball taught you?
"To push myself and never give up. When things get hard, you have to push through and try to conquer."
Â
Who do you think is the best basketball player ever?
"Michael Jordan. He was competitive and fearless. The way he played was perfect."
Â
Is there a pro player you see shades of yourself in?
"Chris Paul and Steph Curry. I'm working to be like them. Top-tier shooter and all-around player."
Â
Who do you look up to?
"My parents, for sure. They always believe in me. They've dedicated their lives to my dreams and have helped my siblings and me in whatever we want to do."
Â
Favorite TV show?
"SpongeBob SquarePants. Every single second of every single episode is interesting. They made thousands of episodes and it's just a new idea every time. Extremely creative and fun. SpongeBob is what I've watched my whole life."
Â
How do you spend your free time away from the gym?
"Probably just relax in my room and watch something on Netflix or play video games with my friends."
Â
What drives you?
"To be the best. I don't want to be anything but the best so that's what I worked towards every day. When I see someone who is better than me, that's motivation to work harder." https://texastech.com/watch/?Archive=34680&type=Archive
