DEFINE YOURSELF: Texas Tech Basketball
September 03, 2024 | Men's Basketball
Darrion Williams: "I'm whatever you need me to be. I'm a winner who will do all the little things on the court that not everyone else necessarily wants to do. I'm a dog who is passionate about the game."
Devan Cambridge: "Three things to define my game, first and foremost, I'm a winner. A mastermind, instigator to get in opponent's heads. Taking them off their game. I'm a dog. A competitor. I'll do the little things that matter and stand out."
Christian Anderson: "I'll always do anything to win. Whatever the coach or team needs me to do to win. I have a good attitude. I always try to bring a positive mindset to the floor and bring up my teammates. I'll never complain or talk back. Shooting is one of my strengths and ability. I can bring floor spacing."
Leon Horner: "Competitive. Hard worker. Versatile. Being competitive brings a lot to the game. I'll do anything to help my team win by playing hard on every possession."
Jazz Henderson: "Winner. I take that very seriously. I come in everyday to give my all to impact winning. Tough. I'm a small guard and to play in this conference I'll have to be scrappy and tough to give it your all and not get pushed around. Competitive. I take the game and everything I do seriously. I'm a floor general, another coach out there on the floor."
Kerwin Walton: "Sharpshooter. Consistent. Winner. There's going to be a lot of ups and downs during the season so being able to stay on the course and path is the most important thing. You can't lose sight of what your goals are. What the dream is."
Jack Francis: "I'm dependable, selfless and a hard worker. My teammates can count on me every single day to do the little things and bring energy."
JT Toppin: "I'm a hard worker, relentless and a dog. You always need that guy who is going to be relentless and do what needs to be done. On the boards, in the paint, all that. Be a dog. Be tough. You need that guy on a team."
Eemeli Yalaho: "I bring versatility, hard work and shooting. I think hard work shows the whole team a good example to push everyone forward."
Kevin Overton: "I'm a scorer – first and foremost – efficient, great energy guy. I'll never have anything negative to say. Always uplifting. I'm extremely versatile in the way I play and guard multiple positions. Versatility is the biggest thing."
Federiko Federiko: "What defines my game is that I'm a good rebounder, a glue-guy and coachable. I'm a good rebounder because of my athleticism and height. I like to go after the ball. Offense and defense. I hunt extra possessions for the team. I like to be a connector."
Chance McMillian:Â "I'm a winner, impactful, coachable. I'll do anything to win the game. No matter what it is. From diving on loose balls, playing defense, shooting. Anything."
Elijah Hawkins: "I'm a great competitor, a playmaker and I like to make my teammates better. I try to take every rep seriously and never take anything for granted. I make my teammates better by spreading the wealth and passing the ball. Getting them open and setting them up for success."
