Team/Event Notes:
- Texas Tech enters its final event of the fall season ranked No. 13 in the latest GCAA Coaches Poll and No. 20 in the Scoreboard by Clippd rankings.
- The trio of Tim Wiedemeyer (No. 12), Adam Bresnu (No. 18), and Connor Graham (No. 20) is each ranked in the Top 20 of the Scoreboard by Clippd rankings. Texas Tech is the only Division I golf program that can claim three individuals ranked in the Top 20.Â
- Texas Tech will close its fall season at The Clerico, hosted by Oral Roberts, at Southern Hills Country Club. The Red Raiders have not recently played in the Clerico; however, the Big 12 hosted the 2024 Championships at Southern Hills last season, providing the Red Raiders with some experience on the course heading into the week.Â
- Connor Graham was named to the 2024 Big 12 All-Tournament Team for his performance at Southern Hills Country Club last season. He earned a tie for seventh place after all scores went final after 72 holes. Graham shot his lowest round in the final round, carding a 2-under-par 68 to finish the event 2-over-par (73-70-71-68=282). Graham was the first Red Raider named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team since Ludvig Åberg in 2023 and was the first Red Raider freshman to earn the distinction since Wes Artac in 2015.
- Tim Wiedemeyer and Price Hill both competed in the Big 12 Championships at Southern Hills Country Club last year as well. Wiedemeyer placed tied for 14th (75-73-72-67=287) while Hill played the first two rounds (75-81) before being subbed for an alternate in rounds three and four.
- The Clerico is named after Oral Roberts donors, John and Cheryl Clerico. The first Clerico was hosted in 2022, but this will be the first time it has been hosted at Southern Hills Country Club.
- The Red Raiders lost two seniors from their 2025 NCAA Championship squad, Charlie DeLong and Calum Scott, to graduation, and added transfer Adam Bresnu, as well as freshmen Simon Hovdal and Brady McHenry, to their 2025-26 squad. Returning from last season include Luke D'Alise, Connor Graham, Ben Gregg, Price Hill, Sean Keeling, and Tim Wiedemeyer.
- Graham returns from an offseason that included participating in The Open Championship, the Arnold Palmer Cup, and, most recently, the 50th Walker Cup, Sept. 6-7.
- Graham was also tabbed as one of 25 individuals for the Haskins Award preseason watch list.
- Gregg and Wiedemeyer also played in some high-level amateur events during the offseason, most recently at the 125th United States Amateur Championships. Both qualified for the Round of 64 match play after starting among 312 players in stroke play. Wiedemeyer advanced as far as the Round of 32.
- Texas Tech finished 10th at the 2025 NCAA Championships, its fourth Top 10 finish in the Greg Sands era and sixth in program history.
