LUBBOCK, Texas – Excitement continues to build on the Texas Tech campus this week leading into a top-10 showdown Saturday between No. 8 Texas Tech and No. 7 BYU inside Jones AT&T Stadium. Tickets for the 11 a.m. kickoff are already sold out, providing another capacity crowd for the Red Raiders in front of a national television audience on ABC.
College Gameday will kick off Saturday's festivities as the popular ESPN pregame show will originate from the Green Space located immediately west of Jones AT&T Stadium. The show will air from 8-11 a.m. Saturday morning on ESPN with the first two hours airing from the Green Space before moving inside Jones AT&T Stadium for pregame warmups and their Saturday Selections.
As a reminder, fans are asked to "Stripe the Stadium" with each section having either a white or red color designation. For a full seating map with color designations, please visit here.
With no shortage of events on campus this weekend, fans are encouraged to utilize the information below for access into the College Gameday set as well as Jones AT&T Stadium.
COLLEGE GAMEDAY FAN INFORMATION
College Gameday will make its second appearance on the Texas Tech campus this Saturday in what is expected to be an electric atmosphere leading up to kickoff. The show will open the pit area to students and fans beginning at 5:30 a.m. CT Saturday morning so arrive early and bring your best signs.
Below are several frequently asked questions for fans wishing to attend College Gameday in person.
How do I get selected to stand in the pit during the live broadcast?
Students and fans have the opportunity for an up-close view of the show by standing in the pit immediately adjacent to the stage. Selection is on a first-come, first-serve basis for all fans. Students admitted to the pit are encouraged to wear school colors and should have a numbered wristband. Participants are subject to ESPN security procedures and policies.
What is the ESPN policy for pit participants?
The following items are prohibited in the pit: bags (of any kind), food and drinks, pens, pencils, markers or dry erase boards and signs on sticks. Throwing objects is strictly prohibited in the pit. A number of sign regulations are required as well.
What are the College GameDay sign regulations?
One of the most beloved traditions associated with College GameDay is the making of signs. No vulgar signs, .com, .net, .org, political or religious signs are allowed. For fans entering the pit, signs cannot be on poles or oversized. All signs brought to Saturday's taping will be inspected before entry and must abide by College GameDay's sign policies or will be removed.
STUDENT SEATING POLICY FOR COLLEGE GAMEDAY
Texas Tech will have 12,000 seats available to its student body Saturday for possibly its biggest game in ages. Of that total, only 2,000 of those seats have been reserved for students already camping outside Jones AT&T Stadium as part of Raiderville or for those who are among the first in line to attend College Gameday.
Texas Tech cut off admission into the Raiderville camping area earlier Wednesday afternoon with nearly 1,600 students registered for early access. Texas Tech will not issue any other early-access privileges to students past this point. Campers are instructed to have their area packed up and cleaned by 7 a.m. Friday. At that point, early access wristbands for students already registered will be distributed.
Texas Tech will reserve student seating for the first 400 students in line to attend College Gameday on Saturday morning. Students who attend the ESPN pregame show will receive a specific wristband for access through Gate 4 in the northeast corner of Jones AT&T Stadium. Access will begin at 10 a.m. when College Gameday transitions inside Jones AT&T Stadium and will end at 10:20 a.m. as Texas Tech will reserve student seating in the turf lawn behind the north end zone as well as in section 13.
Texas Tech will still have roughly 10,000 seats available for students not already in Raiderville or among the first in line at College Gameday. Students currently camping in Raiderville will have access to enter the stadium at the normal Gate 6 location from 7:45-8:15 a.m. Saturday morning. After that time, Texas Tech will open its Gate 6 entry for all students. All lines at Gate 6 will be available beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday morning. Â

GAMEDAY PARKING INFORMATION
All fans with pre-purchased parking can begin accessing lots on campus starting at 7 a.m. Saturday by using the printed parking passes issued by Texas Tech Athletics. Fans are reminded to please park in the assigned lot listed on the pass, and if the lot has a reserved space, please park in the space number listed. Cars not parked in the correct spot or cars impeding the spot next to them are subject to towing. Fans wishing to tailgate are reminded that tents cannot exceed 10x10 or the size of the designated space.
RV pass holders can access their parking location beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday evening and must exit by 10 a.m. on Sunday. Those with pre-purchased RV passes will receive separate information this week via email regarding staging due to the men's basketball game Friday evening.
Fans without donor parking are encouraged to purchase parking in advance here for available lots. Â
CITIBUS TO OPERATE SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR FANS
Citibus will provide roundtrip shuttle service beginning four hours prior to kickoff until one hour after the conclusion of the game at only $6 per person. Pick-up is located north of the John Walker Soccer Complex (Texas Tech Parkway & 10th Street) and northwest of Health Sciences Center (ADA Only, Texas Tech Parkway & 5th Street). Citibus will also provide fans shuttle service from the gameday parking lots to Raider Alley this season as part of its gameday transportation. The drop-off location on the north end of the Engineering Key is in addition to the normal Citibus gameday route. Citibus will only accept payment through the "Go Pass" app. Signage and QR codes will be available near each pickup location on gameday.
DOWNLOAD YOUR TICKETS AND BE READY TO "TAP AND GO" AT THE GATE
Texas Tech has introduced a new "tap and go" mobile ticketing system to assist fans with quicker entry each gameday. All football tickets, including premium areas, remain 100 percent mobile only but will not utilize a QR code for scanning moving forward. Instead, fans will place their downloaded mobile ticket near ticket scanners that will identify each mobile ticket wirelessly. Fans with multiple tickets will need to swipe horizontally to each ticket and tap it near the scanner for entry.
Most importantly, Texas Tech no longer accepts screenshots of mobile tickets in order to further protect ticket holders from scams or counterfeit purchases. As a reminder, fans are highly encouraged to download their tickets in advance of arriving to Jones AT&T Stadium in order to speed up the entry process and to ensure connectivity. Unable to make a game? Transfer your ticket to a friend using the Texas Tech mobile app or by accessing the online ticket account at TexasTech.com. Step-by-step instructions can be found here via TexasTech+.
TICKET REMINDERS IN ADVANCE OF ANOTHER SELLOUT CROWD
With Saturday's highly-anticipated matchup between Texas Tech and BYU already reaching sellout status, the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office has issued several reminders and cautions regarding tickets for the game. The only two authorized sources of tickets for this game are tickets directly purchased through the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office and those purchased through its official secondary ticket partner, SeatGeek. Tickets purchased through any other source are not guaranteed to be valid, and the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office will not be able to assist fans with counterfeit tickets from an unauthorized source.Â
Please use extreme caution when buying through any other third-party source and remember that if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Scalping and soliciting of tickets on the grounds of Jones AT&T Stadium is strictly prohibited. There will be an increased law enforcement presence at the stadium on gameday.Â
PROTECT THE RED RAIDERS: NO OBJECTS THROWN INSIDE JONES AT&T STADIUM
As a reminder, Texas Tech Athletics has changed its gameday fan policies moving forward as the throwing of objects inside Jones AT&T Stadium – including tortillas – will result in an immediate fan ejection and possible revocation of future ticket privileges for the remainder of the season. As a result of this policy change, Texas Tech Athletics is directing fans to no longer participate in the tortilla toss tradition at any point in the game, including the opening kickoff.
CELEBRATE AMERICA GAME AND HALL OF FAME WEEKEND
Texas Tech will continue its longstanding tradition of honoring the brave heroes who have fought for our country with its Celebrate America Game this Saturday. Texas Tech will recognize each branch of the military and its campus military and veterans' programs throughout the game. This will also be Texas Tech's Hall of Fame weekend where the 2025 class will be honored at halftime.

DJ PAULY D TO HEADLINE FESTIVITIES AT RAIDER ALLEY
The best pregame party prior to kickoff is always at Raider Alley presented by Bud Light. This week's musical act is reality television star DJ Pauly D, who will take the stage around 9 a.m. for a free concert in Raider Alley. The pregame festivities begin at 7 a.m. Saturday in the heart of the Texas Tech campus in the Engineering Key. The Raider Alley Concert Series is once again sponsored by Davis Smith Law Firm.
JONES AT&T STADIUM NOW HAS FIVE MARKETPLACES ON THE CONCOURSE
Fans looking for an efficient way to purchase concessions have five different grab-and-go marketplace options to try around Jones AT&T Stadium with the addition of "4th and Goal" near Gate 3 (northwest corner). The marketplace concept has been a popular attraction for Red Raider fans since its inception with "Touchdown Tavern" located on the south end zone concourse, the "Let's Go" and "Take Three" locations at Gate 1 (southwest corner) and Gate 4 (northeast corner) and "Matador Marketplace" on the west side mezzanine level.
THERE'S MORE TO LIKE ABOUT THE GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE
The gameday experience inside Jones AT&T Stadium has received another added boost this season with upgrades to Texas Tech's video displays and fireworks presentation. Texas Tech has increased its live-video windows on both the north and south videoboards with fans getting a 23 percent increase on the north end of the stadium and a 33 percent increase on both of the south displays. Texas Tech has also enhanced its in-game statistics with more prominent locations on each of its video displays.
Texas Tech has also added "picture in picture" to show fans both live game action with the addition of replays to keep up with the Red Raiders' fast-paced offense on the field. In between the action, Texas Tech will update fans on what's happening across the country with regular score updates and live look-ins at games across college football.
Texas Tech's iconic entrance now features an expanded fireworks and special effects package. Texas Tech will also debut new lighting sequences for between the third and fourth quarters and at kickoff. As a reminder, Texas Tech utilizes a lighting system that allows for choregraphed patterns designed to music during its pregame entrance, in-between quarters and after touchdowns. Any persons who are susceptible to photosensitive seizures or other light sensitivities should not participate and should avoid exposure to the flashing light display.
GREET THE RED RAIDERS AT RAIDER WALK EACH GAMEDAY
Fans can greet the Red Raiders on their way into Jones AT&T Stadium each Saturday as Raider Walk will now start roughly two hours and 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders will be dropped around 8:30 a.m. Saturday immediately south of the Sports Performance Center and will walk north down Drive of Champions Avenue to their gameday locker room in the South End Zone Building. Fans are encouraged to line Drive of Champions as the Red Raiders will be joined by the Saddle Tramps and Texas Tech spirit programs.
