Texas Tech will host its first practice in full pads early Friday morning prior to Spring Break
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech concluded its second spring practice Wednesday evening, their final workout in only helmets before putting on the pads Friday. The Red Raiders will practice early Friday morning ahead of Spring Break on the Texas Tech campus before taking a full week off from practices.
Following Wednesday's practice, the trio of associate head coach and special teams coordinator Kenny Perry, defensive coordinator Shiel Wood and offensive coordinator Mack Leftwich all met with the media inside the Dustin R. Womble Football Center.
