Team/Event Notes:
- Augusta University is set to host the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational, an event the school has hosted since 1979 with individual winners such as Phil Mickelson, Justin Leonard, Dustin Johnson and Cameron Young over its history.
- The event will be held at Forest Hills Golf Club, in Augusta, Ga., located less than five miles from the famed Augusta National Golf Club.
- Practice rounds for the Masters will begin on the following Monday after the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational, the Masters is set to take place April 10-13. The Red Raiders will stick around for the Monday practice round and get to see fellow Texas Tech alum Ludvig Aberg prepare for his second Masters event since concluding his Red Raider career in May of 2023.Â
- The Augusta Haskins Award Invitational will be the Red Raiders' 10th event of the season and sixth of the spring season. Tech's best team finish this season was placing second (839, -13) at The Prestige in La Quinta, Calif., on Feb. 17-19.
- The Red Raiders will be competing yet again in a field full of Top 25 teams. Five teams are inside the Top 25 heading into the event, while the Red Raiders are the first team on the outside looking in, ranked at No. 28.
- Texas Tech rose as high as No. 19 in the Feb. 26 national rankings. The Red Raiders have been in and just outside of the Top 25 for most of the spring season.
- No. 23 (Feb. 12), No. 21 (Feb. 19),  No. 19 (Feb. 26), No. 21 (March 5), No. 26 (March 12), No. 21 (March 19), No. 26 (March 26), and No. 28 (April 2).
- The first Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll of the spring was released on Feb. 28. It had Texas Tech ranked No. 18. The second poll was released March 21 with the Red Raiders at No. 22. The third edition is not set to release until April 11.
- Per the most recent PGA Tour University rankings released on April 2, Calum Scott checked in at No. 14Â and Charlie DeLong at No. 34.Â
- While the PGA Tour U rankings are reserved for upperclassmen nearing exhausting eligibility, the national rankings for all collegiate individuals have freshman Connor Graham leading the Red Raiders at No. 50 in all of college golf. The freshman has finished no worse than 16th over the Red Raiders' last four events.Â
