Texas Tech launches NiJaree Canady promotional website

NiJareeCanady24.com will track NiJaree Canady’s awards and stats as the reigning National Player of the Year
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech announced Monday the launch of NiJareeCanady24.com, a promotional website for the Red Raider junior pitcher and reigning National Player of the Year NiJaree Canady for national awards and to track her career stats.
Canady won D1Softball National Pitcher of the Week honors last week and Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on March 18 and April 8. She was also named the No. 1 player in the country by Softball America and D1Softball ahead of the season, is on the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Watchlist and a Preseason First Team All-American and All-Big 12 Preseason Team member.
So far this season, Canady ranks fourth in the country in strikeouts (183), tied for first in ERA (0.60), third in strikeout-to-walk ratio (10.28), third in strikeouts per seven innings (11.1) and second in WHIP (.66). On the offensive end, Canady is hitting .302 with four home runs and 20 RBI and looks to be getting healthy enough to get back in the lineup.
