LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Women's Tennis team has signed Kseniia Logvin to the 2025-26 roster as announced by head coach Adam Herendeen on Thursday morning.
Â
"We are beyond excited to add Kseniia to our team," Herendeen said. "She is an accomplished singles player and an excellent doubles player and instantly makes our team better. We were also thoroughly impressed with her character in the recruiting process, her desire to improve and overall excitement to be a Red Raider. We can't wait for her to get here in August."
Â
The Moscow, Russia native comes to Lubbock with an experienced resume in the junior tennis landscape. Logvin would win the doubles title at the J60 Baku in 2023 after picking up four wins in the main draw without ever dropping a set. Since 2021, she was a doubles finalist at the J5 Bishkek and a doubles quarterfinalist at both the J30 Uchkun and the J4 Bishkek.
Â
In singles, she advanced out of the qualifying draw at the J5 Balashiha, the J30 Uchkun and the J30 Samarkand, while also earning a quarterfinals spot in the main draw of the J60 Baku in 2023. At the J30 Uchkun tournament, she not only advanced out of qualifying with two wins, but she also picked up three more in the main draw to reach the quarterfinals.
Â
She moved on to the women's circuit in ITF tournaments in 2024, playing in singles tournaments. She earned her first wins on the women's tour when she recorded two victories to advance out of the qualifying draw at the Sharm ElSheikh 15k, defeating Yasmine Wagner (ITF 378) and Olga Danilova (ITF 616) in straight sets and only dropping three total games between both matches. A week later, she would go on to beat Rikke De Koning, who holds a career-high ITF ranking of 15, in the qualifying draw of another Sharm ElSheikh 15k.
Â
Logvin, who trained at the Pirogovskiy Tennis Club in Mytishchi, Russia, is set to join the Lady Raiders this upcoming season.
