Tech named to 2025 AVCA Academic Award List

The Red Raiders volleyball team gets recognition for their work in the classroom
LUBBOCK, Texas – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its list of 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintained a year-long GPA of 3.3 or higher, setting a new record for most schools on the list.
The Red Raiders maintained a 3.4 GPA this past year and have now been on this award list eight times since 1992, six of which have come under head coach Tony Graystone who is entering his 10th season with the program.
Tech will begin its season with a Red/Black Scrimmage on August 22 at 6 p.m.
