Texas Tech will have its second sellout already this season for Saturday’s 11 a.m. kickoff versus Kent State
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech announced Thursday it will have a sellout crowd on hand for the second-consecutive weekend as the primary ticket inventory for Saturday's non-conference game against Kent State is officially sold out.
This is the second of three advanced sellouts already this year for the Red Raiders, who had a full 60,229 fans on hand last weekend to watch a 67-7 rout of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Texas Tech has also sold out of its primary ticket inventory for the Oct. 25 showdown with Oklahoma State. That streak could potentially push to three-consecutive sellouts next Saturday as Texas Tech has a limited inventory remaining for the Sept. 13 game against Oregon State.
While Texas Tech is out of its primary ticket inventory, tickets can still be purchased for both the Kent State game this weekend and Oklahoma State contest through SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of the athletics department. Â
Pregame festivities begin with Raider Alley opening at 7:30 a.m. Saturday followed by Raider Walk at 8:30 a.m. and the Raider Alley Concert Series featuring Grant Gilbert at 9 a.m. that morning. For a full rundown of fan information for every Texas Tech home game this season, please visit here.
As a reminder, fans are highly encouraged to download their tickets in advance of arriving to Jones AT&T Stadium in order to speed up the entry process and to ensure connectivity. Fans unable to make a game can transfer their tickets to a friend or family member by using the Texas Tech mobile app or by accessing the online ticket account at TexasTech.com.
