"Red Raider Basketball with Grant McCasland" returns next week

LUBBOCK – "Red Raider Basketball with Grant McCasland" returns for its highly-anticipated third season on Thursday, January 15, going live from 6-7 p.m. at Rudy's Country Store and BBQ. The radio show's season debut will come in the middle of a two-game homestand with the Red Raiders hosting Utah on Wednesday, January 14 and then playing No. 9 BYU on Saturday, January 17 at United Supermarkets Arena. Fans are invited to Rudy's to watch the broadcast live, located on 4930 South Loop 289, while those who cannot attend can listen locally each week on Double T 97.3 FM.
"Red Raider Basketball with Grant McCasland" is hosted weekly by Geoff Haxton on the Texas Tech Sports Network, and can be found via 17 stations across the state, locally in the Lubbock area each week on Double T 97.3 FM and on the Varsity Network app. The five-week show will feature McCasland and Haxton breaking down the season and upcoming games along with guest appearances from assistant coaches and players. Fans also have an opportunity to have their questions answered by submitting them in-person at Rudy's along with online at @GeoffHaxton or @GunsUpRadio on X. Along with submitting questions, fans will have opportunities to interact with members of the Texas Tech basketball program and have items signed.
The No. 14-ranked Red Raiders (11-4, 1-1 Big 12) return to action this weekend with a road game at Colorado at 6 p.m. (CST) on Saturday in Boulder, Colorado before returning home to host the games against Utah and BYU next week.
