How does our school register?
Registration is handled through an online form. The form isn’t open yet — this page will be updated with the link as soon as it goes live.
Email will.shoaf@ttu.edu in the meantime and we’ll make sure your school hears about it first.
What if I don’t know our exact numbers yet?
Be as precise as you can on the form. You’ll have time closer to the event to give us a final count.
Who should be our school’s point of contact?
A full-time employee — teacher, counselor, vice principal or similar. This person receives all Education Day information from Texas Tech.
Can we change our number after submitting the form?
Yes — email Will Shoaf, Promotions & Fan Engagement, at will.shoaf@ttu.edu.
Can parents attend without chaperoning?
Absolutely, though seating with their child’s school isn’t guaranteed. Specific sections are open for general fans and season ticket holders.
Can my student buy lunch at the game?
Yes. Concession stands are open throughout the game and accept cash.
Do we pay for bus parking?
No. Bus parking is free, and Texas Tech sends directions to the designated areas ahead of the event.
How much does this event cost?
Nothing. Education Day is free for all schools.
My child is homeschooled — can they come?
Yes, all students 8th grade and younger are welcome. Email will.shoaf@ttu.edu with your number of students and chaperones to get parking and seating information.
Can we tour campus after the game?
Texas Tech doesn’t offer scheduled tours in mid-December, but schools are welcome to walk campus on their own after dismissal.
Schools remain responsible for their students, teachers and chaperones on a self-guided tour.
