On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches and support staff, I would like to formally welcome you to Lubbock, Texas. We are thrilled to be hosting the 2019 Big 12 Indoor Championships at the Sports Performance Center. For so long, we have been building a respectable program in Lubbock, and we finally have the facilities to match our vision. With a talented team and world-class facilities, it then became our goal to bring in the nation’s best competition to compete right here in West Texas. We believe the 2019 Big 12 Indoor Championships will embody this kind of top-level talent, and we are so excited for the elite performances we are about to witness on Feb. 22-23.
