Corporate partner use of Texas Tech Athletics logos, wordmarks, spirit marks, or related brand assets must be reviewed and approved before production, publication, or distribution.
Approved use should clearly support the partner relationship and should not imply ownership of Texas Tech marks, institutional endorsement beyond the approved sponsorship, or use outside the approved partnership scope.

These examples are intended to help partners understand where Texas Tech Athletics marks may be appropriate, where use may be limited, and where additional review is required.

Appropriate when the sponsorship agreement grants specific category rights, such as official banking, insurance, healthcare, automotive, or retail partner designations.
In most approved corporate partner executions, the partner brand should remain in the primary position, while Texas Tech Athletics marks should appear in a secondary or supporting position. The Texas Tech mark should clarify the relationship to Texas Tech Athletics and should not make the item appear to be official team-issued apparel, merchandise, or a new joint brand unless that use has been specifically approved.
Co-branded apparel, headwear, premiums, and promotional products may require additional licensing review and must be approved before production.
Co-branded products, including but not limited to apparel and promotional items, must be produced by a Texas Tech licensed vendor. These products will not be royalty-bearing when produced through an approved licensed vendor and used for approved corporate partner purposes.
Requests to use a vendor that is not currently licensed with Texas Tech will be placed under a premium promotional products one-time license agreement through the Collegiate Licensing Company. A 14% royalty will be applied.
Texas Tech Athletics encourages partners to consider approved local licensees who are also corporate partners, including Slate Group, QuarterFour, and Brandability.

Corporate partnership opportunities may include venue signage, event sponsorships, promotions, hospitality, broadcast, digital engagement, and visibility through official Texas Tech Athletics channels.
Sponsorship interest and partnership discussions are separate from final approval to use Texas Tech Athletics marks. Any use of Texas Tech logos, wordmarks, or brand assets must still be reviewed and approved before production, publication, or distribution.
Texas Tech Athletics reserves the right to require edits or decline any use that does not align with approved brand standards, sponsorship rights, licensing requirements, or the intended partner relationship.
