Ben Brown is in his second season on the Texas Tech staff as an assistant video coordinator where he helps facilitate all the video needs for the Red Raider coaching staff and student-athletes.
Brown arrives at Texas Tech following two seasons in the Southeastern Conference as he was a football video assistant at Auburn in 2022 and was an assistant video coordinator at Texas A&M in 2013.
Brown began his career at his alma mater, serving as the football video coordinator at Tarleton State over the course of the 2018-21 seasons. His tenure coincided with Tarleton State’s transition to the NCAA FCS level as the Texans went 5-3 during their spring 2021 season and then 6-5 that next fall. He was also with the Texans during their final two seasons at the NCAA Division II ranks as Tarleton State recorded back-to-back undefeated regular seasons and captured the Lone Star Conference title.
Brown, a native of Troy, Texas, earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Tarleton State in 2021. He added his master’s in sport administration from the university a year later.
