Iyanna Alston-Hasselvander

Iyanna Alston-Hasselvander enters her first season on the Texas Tech video staff as an assistant video coordinator, bringing with her experience in both college football and the NFL.
In her role, Alston-Hasselvander helps oversee 10-plus students each semester in providing the video needs for the football staff. This includes the filming and editing of practice and game film, utilizing Texas Tech’s partnership with Catapult to ensure a quick turnaround.
Alston-Hasselvander arrived at Texas Tech after spending the 2025 football season as a seasonal video intern with the Los Angeles Chargers. It represented her second position at the NFL level after previously serving an internship with the New England Patriots leading up to the 2024 season. In between, she was an assistant video coordinator for Georgia State during the 2024 football season.
Alston-Hasselvander received her first experience while as an undergrad at South Carolina, working with both the Gamecocks’ live productions department and football video staff. She was also a photographer as an undergrad for The Daily Gamecock student newspaper as well as the South Carolina Hockey Club as part of a social media internship.
Alston-Hasselvander earned her bachelor’s degree in sport and entertainment management in May 2024.
