GRADUATE SEASON (2024)
Played in 20 games, starting 16 of them… recorded two home runs and five RBIs on the season… her first home run came against Texas State (2/18) and her second came in her final game at Rocky Johnson Field against Texas (5/5).
SENIOR SEASON (2023)
Started all 50 games played… batted .293 with eight doubles, a career-high nine home runs and 29 RBIs… also added 12 walks and a pair of hit by pitches, good for a .358 on-base percentage and .914 OPS… tallied seven multi-hit and eight multi-RBI contests… finished the season with a .933 fielding percentage as a middle infielder… blasted the first of three home runs in the game that Tech would shatter the program’s single-season home run record… went 2-for-2 with a double, a home run, a walk and a trio of RBIs in Tech’s win over Santa Clara... 2023 College Sports Communications Academic All-District
JUNIOR SEASON (2022)
Started 16 of her 20 games played as an infielder… batted .243 with a double, a home run and a trio of RBIs… also added six runs scored… recorded a multi-hit game and a multi-RBI game… went 2-for-2 against nationally-ranked Washington
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021)
In her second season as a Red Raider, Barraza started in 24 of 28 games... hit a season high 2 RBI against UTEP (3/19)... hit her first career home run against North Dakota State (2/26) and her second home run again against North Dakota State (2/27) … recorded a hit in two of four at-bats against Southeast Missouri (2/27) including an RBI single ... tallied 15 hits and 6 RBI on the season with 3 doubles ... committed just two errors in 37 attempts for a fielding percentage of .973.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2020)
Made four starts and 13 appearances in her first season with the Red Raiders … began her career with a start at short in Tech’s season-opening win against Houston Baptist (2/7) … powered a double against Montana (2/9) for the first hit of her collegiate career … helped Tech to a 5-2 win over No. 15 Georgia (2/15) with an RBI double … stepped in to pinch run and scored solo runs against Syracuse (2/21), No. 4 LSU (2/27) and Fairleigh Dickinson (3/6) … on March 13, the remainder of the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
DIAMOND RANCH HS
Four-year letterwinner at Diamond Ranch High School … named the league’s Offensive Player of the Year as a senior … also picked up Team MVP, CIV Division 3 First Team, Hacienda First Team All-League, First Team All-Area, First Team All-State and Hacienda Top 5 honors … served as softball president for three years … MaxPreps Division 3 Top-10 stats leader in home runs and slugging percentage … racked up 35 hits, 17 RBI, 26 runs, six home runs, a .947 slugging percentage and a .461 batting average through 20 games in her final season with the Panthers … an All-League selection as a freshman, sophomore and junior … a multi-sport athlete, Barraza also played volleyball for the Panthers … thrived academically as she earned Hacienda First Team Academic All-League honors, as well as the President Award of Academic Excellence, the Anaheim Police Department Survivors Scholarship and California State Department of Education honors at graduation.
