2018 SEASON (SENIOR)
Once again a strong contributor during his final season as a Red Raider … appeared in eight games at fullback or on special teams before an injury ended his season … recorded two tackles on special teams, while rushing five times for 11 yards offensively … added one reception for eight yards as well … all five of his carries came in the blowout win over Lamar (9/8) … also had a tackle versus the Cardinals as well as at Iowa State (10/27) … ended his career with an eight-yard catch on Senior Night versus Texas (11/10) … returned one kick on the season, resulting in 15 yards in the opener versus Ole Miss (9/1).
2017 SEASON (JUNIOR)
Saw action in the first five games of the year before an injury ended his season … served key role as Texas Tech’s B-Back (fullback) prior to his injury … was also instrumental part of several special teams units … ended the year with seven carries for 25 yards and three receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown … added four tackles on special teams … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS … set career highs with seven carries for 25 yards in the season opener against Eastern Washington (9/2) … marked the first collegiate carry of his career … found the end zone for the first time in his career two weeks later against Arizona State (9/16) … caught a Nic Shimonek pass in the flat and scampered in for a 10-yard touchdown reception late in the second quarter … touchdown was one of two catches for 26 yards in the game … final reception of the year came on a two-yard pass at Kansas (10/7) … recorded a tackle in the Eastern Washington, Arizona State, Oklahoma State (9/30) and Kansas games.
2016 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Became Texas Tech’s top blocking tight end/fullback as a sophomore … appeared in 11 of 12 games while making three starts … was one of the Red Raiders’ top options on special teams in addition to his role in the back field … caught five passes for 96 yards on the year, averaging an impressive 19.2 yards per catch … also made four tackles on special teams … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: made collegiate debut in season opener against Stephen F. Austin (9/3) … collected first career tackle in Big 12 opener versus Kansas (9/29) … played a significant role against Oklahoma (10/22), catching three passes for 49 yards, both of which that were career highs … caught his first of three passes that went over 20 yards on the season against the Sooners … had a 21-yard reception … other two receptions on the year came at Oklahoma State (11/12) … was on receiving end of a career-high 24 yard pass and then a 23-yarder against the Cowboys … also had a career-high two tackles in the game … made his first career start just a week prior against Texas (11/5) … other two starts came at Iowa State (11/19) and against Baylor (11/25).
