Another former Lady Raider, Zuri Sanders enters her second year as a member of Krista Gerlich’s full-time staff after assuming the Director of Player Development/Social Media Recruiting Role back in June 2023.
No stranger to Lubbock or Texas Tech, Sanders spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant under Gerlich after a decorated four-year Lady Raider career.
A native of Evansville, Ind., Sanders played for the Lady Raiders from 2015-19, and averaged 8.0, 10.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists during her senior season.
Her 10.4 rebounds were top-15 in the NCAA during the 2018-19 season and were the fourth most in Lady Raider history.
