Big 12 announces women's basketball schedule matrix

LUBBOCK – The Big 12 has announced the scheduling matrix for the 2026-27 women's basketball season with Texas Tech set to play home-and-road games against Baylor, UCF and West Virginia while playing the remaining 12 teams once during the conference season. The Lady Raiders, who are coming off a trip to the 2026 NCAA Tournament, will host their only matchups against BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Houston, Oklahoma State and Utah while playing road games against Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and TCU.
Dates, times and television designations will be announced when available. Details on single game and group tickets for home Big 12 games will be released this fall ahead of their on-sale date. The Lady Raiders are coming off a season where they advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round and finished the season with a 26-8 overall record. Tech, which started the season with a 19-0 record, finished fourth in the Big 12 standings after going 12-6 in Big 12 play. The team spent 12 straight weeks in the national rankings earned a NCAA Tournament First Round win over Villanova. Head coach Krista Gerlich earned Big 12 Coach of the Year and was a semifinalist for the Naismith Women's Coach of the Year.
