Alayshia Green enters her second full season on the Texas Tech personnel staff where she serves as Director of On-Campus Recruiting Operations.

In her role, Green helps oversee the planning and execution of campus visits by prospective student-athletes throughout the calendar year, particularly with transfer prospects and during the summer official visit period. She also helps coordinate travel for Texas Tech’s coaching staff to visit prospective student-athletes.

Green arrived at Texas Tech at the start of the 2025 season, helping the Red Raiders close the top high school class in the Big 12 and the second-ranked transfer portal class in the country. Texas Tech ended the 2026 recruiting cycle with a class ranked as high as No. 13 nationally by ESPN and No. 15 by 247Sports, its highest finish ever among online recruiting services thanks in part to two five-star signees in offensive lineman Felix Ojo and outside linebacker LaDamion Guyton.

Green joined the Red Raiders after previously serving as a recruiting intern at UCF during the 2021 season and again during the 2025 football offseason. She moved to Orlando after previously assisting Florida Atlantic as a recruiting and operations student assistant throughout her undergraduate career with the Owls where she handled many of the same responsibilities as in her current position at Texas Tech.

Greene earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic in 2020 and then added two master’s in both business administration and sport business management from Central Florida a year later. She was elected the president of the FAU Athletic Ambassadors organization during her time as an undergrad, also serving as the social media chair and as a vice president.

In addition to her roles at both schools, she has also served in various capacities with the Orange Bowl Committee, Florida Citrus Sports as well as NCSA and IMG Academy. She was IMG Academy’s recruiting coordinator prior to her hire at Texas Tech, serving as the first point of contact for student-athletes at one of the nation’s top hotbeds for talent.
