Kaden Cleavinger enters his third season with the Lady Raider Basketball program at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Cleavinger originally joined the program as a Graduate Manager in 2024 before being hired as a full-time coaching assistant ahead of the 2026-27 season.

In his role as a Graduate Assistant, Cleavinger helped the Lady Raiders to one of the most successful seasons in recent program history, as Texas Tech finished 26-8 overall and 12-6 in Big 12 play after being picked 13th in the preseason poll. The Lady Raiders tied for fourth in the conference, recorded their highest Big 12 finish since 2012-13, and posted their most overall wins since 2002-03. Texas Tech also opened the season with a program-record 19-0 start, earned its first national ranking since 2012, and spent 12 consecutive weeks in the AP Top 25.

A native of Nazareth, Texas, Cleavinger earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Wayland Baptist University in 2024, before completing a master's degree in Sport Management at Texas Tech University this past spring
Cleavinger recently got married to his wife, Hadlee. Together, the pair have a goldendoodle, named Maizee.
