Kowalik joins the Texas Tech staff following an impressive collegiate career at Kentucky where she played from 2019-23 and was named to three SEC teams and an NFCA All-American in 2021.
A New Braunfels native, Kowalik was also apart of Team USA in the 2022 Japan All-Star Series and 2022 Canada Cup and left the Wildcats as the all-time leader in hits, triples, runs and total bases.
Most recently, Kowalik has been playing in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball League where she played in 14 games, hitting .333 with 14 hits.
