Matthew Jordan joined the office of Athletic Academic Services in September 2005 as a graduate assistant. Currently, he is an assistant director for continuing eligibility where he monitors satisfactory progress towards degree requirements and APR for all intercollegiate athletic teams at Texas Tech. Also, he serves as the athletic academic advisor for both the men and women’s tennis teams.

Prior to joining the athletic department, Matthew worked as an academic advisor for the College of Media Communications. Matthew earned his undergraduate degree from Big 12 rival, Baylor University, with a degree in business management and a minor in marketing. He earned a master's degree in Physical Education from Texas Tech.
