Shantavia Dawkins enters her first season with the Lady Raider Basketball program at the start of the 2026-27 season.
Dawkins joins Texas Tech after a successful collegiate playing career at Iowa State and the University of Dayton. A guard, Dawkins spent two seasons at Iowa State before transferring to Dayton, where she competed for three seasons.
During her time with the Flyers, she tallied 161 points including a career-high 10-point performance at Xavier on Nov. 11, 2025. Dawkins excelled off the court as well, earning Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition in both 2025 and 2026.
A Toronto, Ontario, Canada, native, Dawkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Studies from Dayton in 2026.
